  • Oswald Seneadza is, an Associate Professor of Law, an Academic Moderator, and a Legal Consultant with over 20 years’ experience in teaching and research in Law at KNUST, Kumasi since 2003.
  • He was the former Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law & Head of Dept. of Public Law for 11 years.
  • He served on the Academic Board, College Board and Faculty Board at KNUST for many years
  • He represented KNUST on the Academic Board and Appointments & Promotions Committees of Wisconsin International University College and Mount Crest University College, all in Ghana.
  • Currently, he is the Coordinator of Postgraduate Studies in the Faculty of Law of KNUST
  • Chairman of the Research Ethics Committee of College of Humanities and Social Sciences, KNUST
  • Member of Education, Capacity Development & Research Committee of CIAMC-Gh.
  • Fellow of Charted Professional Administrator (FChPA) and Certified Management Consultant (FCMC) conferred 2019 by the Charted Institute of Administrators and Management Consultants (CIAMC-Gh)
  • For Basic Educ. he attended Bishop Herman College (‘O’ L) and Tamale Secondary School (‘A’ L).
  • Thereafter, he obtained a Diploma Certificate in Journalism from Ghana Institute of Journalism, (GIJ).
  • He obtained LLB, LLM and PhD Degrees from Universities in Ghana, Ukraine, and Germany
  • He has the Expertise in Public International Law, Administrative Law and Environmental Law
  • He is Lead Facilitator for the Law Courses run by IDL-KNUST in Ghana and Nigeria.
  • He served on Global Theological Seminary Council (GTS) and on the Academic and College Boards of KNUST
  • He is External Assessor of Law Programmes for many Ghanaian and foreign Universities.
  • He Reviews, on appointment by GTEC, Law Faculties and their Programmes for accreditation.
  • He is Reviewer of Journal articles, Promotion documents and LLM/PhD theses for various institutions including: Commonwealth Law Bulletin, CSIR, and KNUST School of Graduate Studies.
  • He was a Member of Global Theological Seminary Governing Council (GTS) from 2014 to 2019
  • He served as Coordinator in training staff on Quality Assurance Strategies in Ghanaian Universities.
  • He was engaged as Adjunct Professor at GIMPA, UCOMS, UPSA, CIAMC, GTUC (Coventry).
  • He sat as Honorary Judge at the “All African Intern. Human Rights Moot Court Competitions” held in: South Africa, Kenya, Mozambique, Nigeria, Benin and Ghana, between 2008 and 2023.
  • His research activities resulted in Publication of a total of 54 academic books and scholarly articles.
  • A special honour was bestowed on him by the Synod Committee of Global Evangelical Church in recognition of his selfless and dedicated service to the GEC for the period (2012 – 2022)
  • The Faculty of Law, KNUST, in 2022 Honoured him for impacting many lives and for rising through the ranks to the high rank of Associate Professor of Law, the first home-grown professor of the Faculty.
  • He was Honoured with a citation form KNUST Administration on 12th December 2023, for his hard work and immense contribution towards the growth and development of KNUST in his 20-years of meritorious service to the University community and Ghana.
  • Aside Ghanaian languages, he has proficiency in English, German and Russian languages.
  • Oswald Seneadza is a Ghanaian married to Vivian Nyante with three children: Julia, Jude and Jessica.
